Elia is a seasoned non-profit leader who has dedicated over 25 years of her professional life to the social service and early care and education fields. She has overseen multi-million-dollar projects focusing on providing early education, school readiness, and mental health services to underserved communities. Elia currently serves as Executive Director of Children Today, a non-profit childcare and preschool dedicated to caring for children and families facing homelessness or maltreatment. Elia is a proud member of LBECE and serves on the board as Treasurer. She is dedicated to amplifying the work of early childhood education professionals, who are both foundations to and anchors for our communities.
