Danielle is a passionate, equity-focused educator with over 25 years of experience in education. Her career has encompassed a wide range of roles, including general education teacher, special education teacher, curriculum specialist, district-level special education administrator, and her current and most beloved position as Principal of Buffum Total Learning Center in the Long Beach Unified School District.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. Danielle believes that early education, combined with meaningful parent training, is critical to ensuring a successful educational journey for students of all abilities. She champions equitable access to high-quality early learning experiences, striving to ignite a lifelong love of learning in every child and ensuring that all students regardless of background or ability have the opportunity to thrive from the very start.
